Taniti has ten unique restaurants and local eateries, ranging from fresh local fare to American and Pan-Asian cuisine. Five restaurants within the local city areas serve a variety of local fish and the highest quality rice. Three of the restaurants serve American-style cuisine that would be familiar to those hailing from the United States. Grocery Stores and Supermarkets
There are two major supermarkets located on the north and south ends of the city center, offering fresh meat and produce with some variety of local fare. Two smaller grocery stores flank the outer limits of the city and provide a more rustic experience, with mostly local fish and varieties of fruit. Visitor kiosks located throughout the island offer free maps that can help visitors ensure they can find a plethora of outlets with ease.
Convenience Stores
Taniti Island has one premiere location for a 24-hour convenience store, where you can find anything from snacks to gifts to alcohol. This store serves the greater Taniti Island region and is always open. Keep in mind that alcohol sales will still cease after midnight on the island, so prepare in advance.
