Nearly all visitors arrive to Taniti Island by air, though some arrive by sea at the Yellow Leaf Dock. Taniti Airport is small but highly accommodating, and mostly serves smaller jets and propeller planes, however, plans for expansion are currently underway to accommodate larger aircraft. Ground transportation services are the primary resource for most visitors. Taxis, rental cars, and buses can be found near the airport, in addition to being centrally located within the city limits. Biking, hiking, and walking remain very popular options as Taniti is known for its easily walkable terrain and temperate climate. Merriton Landing of Yellow Leaf Bay remains the most sought-after location on the island.

While the Taniti Island Airport and Terminal is the only airport on the island, it serves as the primary gateway and thousands of visitors flow the terminals each year.
